Christine's passion for chocolate began at the tender age of 6 when she walked up to a teenage boy eating a Mars bar and within minutes had convinced him that the bar would make his teeth fall out and he should hand it over. He did. And away she walked, merrily scoffing her ill gotten gains.
But this was only the beginning...
By the time she was in her mid twenties, Christine was an unpaid and unofficial rep for Cadbury. She made it her personal mission to taste all new chocolate bars as they came onto the market - regardless of make. When 'Time Out' was launched, Christine approved. She promptly went out and bought several bars for her friends saying 'You've got to try this one – it's good!' And indeed it was.
But times have changed and we now relish in the choice of luxury chocolates
available to us. The standards are high and serious handmade chocolates are around.
Chocolatiers love their work; it is their art, their passion.
And life has turned round for Christine too, allowing her to realise her precious and long held dream:
And here they are - Christine Sanders Chocolates.
